Located in the Hawthorne community, Bodger Park is home to one of the most culturally diverse and volunteer-active recreation programs within the South County Community Services Agency. Over the past 15 years, this Department, along with Kids N Sports, has utilized this 10.8-acre facility along with its large athletic fields and three baseball diamonds to provide premium youth sport leagues such as baseball, softball, soccer and flag football. Recreational programming such as after-school and summer day camps, summer lunch and after-school snack and the community garden, supported by the local residents, are just a few of the many programs available year-round.
