Madagascar Spiny Forest
The Madagascar Spiny Forest exhibit launched the Arboretum’s Plant Conservation Programs that tells the story of Madagascar’s unique habitat. This exhibit educates our visitors on the importance of plant conservation and promotes the horticultural awareness of arid plants
Wildlife Garden
The Wildlife Garden was added as a new feature of the Roots & Shoots Children’s Discovery Node. This garden has no irrigation and is a wonderful display of California native plants that thrive on dry terrain. The combination of hearty plants and beautiful blooms attract bees, birds, and butterflies throughout the year.
