Park hours: Sunrise to Sunset daily (closed on Christmas day)

Whittier Narrows Regional Park Lake

Whittier Narrows, located in the City of South El Monte features a variety of facilities, spread over 1,492 acres and is one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most popular recreation areas. The park is located on both sides of the Pomona Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue.

National Public Lands Day recognition will be celebrated by planting shade trees as part of a grant program from the South Coast Air Quality Management District. Various volunteer and community organizations will participate. Please contact the park office for more information: (626) 575-5526
